What goes around………

A fellow RN hand made and brought this heartfelt gift to me when I was going through Lymphoma treatment.

READ BELOW for the story. (I couldn’t figure out how to make the picture smaller!)

Years earlier, I shared the Float Sideways concept with Lisa, a fellow RN, during one of our busy night shifts together. Before the day Lisa stopped by to surprise me with her beautiful handmade necklace, I hadn’t truly realized how Float Sideways resonated with people and helped them in those moments of necessity.

I had no idea she would remember the late night “Float Sideways” share from so many years before and even more, unexpectedly place it back in front of me right when I needed it the most. I kept it next to my bed for the rest of my therapies, and now 7 years later, Lymphoma cured, I keep it next to my desk.

It was because of her gift of this necklace that Morgan and I decided to get this much needed concept out into the world.

I think everyone always wonders if the wisdom and life strategies we teach and share with others really does any good.

Well, I can tell you, it does! ‍ What goes around does come around, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. ‍ ‍

So keep sharing your wisdom and strategies with others.

Thank you, Lisa, for being who you are, for reminding me in those scary and uncertain moments to stay on my inner tube, have faith in the course, and appreciate all I have today.
